“Competence in All-Ceramics” Events an Overwhelming Success

The promise was to stage the biggest all-ceramic show that had ever taken place in India. This promise was kept and expectations even exceeded! In just one weekend, more than 2,000 dentists and dental technicians attended the informative and inspirational “Competence in All-Ceramics” events organized by the Ivoclar Vivadent over .

Ivoclar Vivadent’s expertise was impressively demonstrated by two renowned lecturers: MDT Oliver Brix and Prof. Daniel Edelhoff from Germany, the absolute experts in the field of all-ceramics, lectured on IPS Empress and IPS e.max. Master dental technician Oliver Brix presented the laboratory steps involved in the creation of an all-ceramic restoration. The highlights of the lecture included spectacular images of various IPS e.max Press restorations, which Mr. Brix had created in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Daniel Edelhoff.

The two lecturers were questioned for hours after the events by the enthusiastic audience and asked to pose for photos with attendees. The feedback received was excellent.

Following the Dental Competence event in Chennai, Brix stayed on for another two days to conduct an IPS e.max Master Workshop at the CADET Centre of Vijay Dental in Chennai. Nine dental technicians selected from all over India were given the opportunity of learning tips and tricks from him.

Apart from the event organized in Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai, Competence in All-Ceramics lectures were also held in Cochin, Bangalore, and Kolkata. At the end of his trip to India, Senior Area Sales Manager Marcel Oehri was convinced that “with these Dental Competence events, we have set new standards in India. We look forward to conducting further Dental Competence events in 2010 and would like to thank the participants and all our customers for their enthusiasm.”
